PHAT Mermaids is a Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) and Yoga company dedicated to empowering women by promoting self-acceptance, boosting confidence, and reducing body image shaming. Through a variety of classes and courses, both online and in-person, I help you overcome fears, improve self-esteem, and cultivate self-love. Whether you're new to SUP or looking to enhance your skills, my holistic approach ensures you get a fun, low-impact workout while building confidence on and off the water.
I offer a wide range of classes and courses tailored to different skill levels and needs. My offerings include:

No prior experience is necessary to join my SUP classes! My classes are designed to accommodate all skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced paddlers. I offer beginner-friendly sessions that focus on the basics of SUP, such as balance and stroke techniques. For those looking for more of a challenge, I have advanced classes and fitness-focused sessions. Our supportive community and I ensure you feel comfortable and confident every step of the way.

For a Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) lesson, comfort and safety are key.
Here are some recommendations on what to wear:
👙 Swimwear: A swimsuit or board shorts are ideal as you’ll likely get wet. Choose something that you’re comfortable moving in.
🩱Quick-Drying Clothing: Consider wearing a rash guard or a quick-drying athletic shirt to protect against sun exposure and chafing.
🧢 Sun Protection: A hat, sunglasses with a retainer strap, and plenty of sunscreen (preferably water-resistant) will help protect you from the sun’s rays.
🩴 Footwear: Barefoot is often best for better grip on the board, but you can also wear water shoes if you prefer.
🤿 Layering: Depending on the weather, you might want to bring a lightweight, water-resistant jacket or wetsuit top.
🛟 Safety Gear: We provide life vests and other necessary safety equipment, but feel free to bring your own if you have a preferred set.
